Moment #03: January 2, 1987 – The “Little House” becomes Chicago House’s third home

In Spring 1987, Chicago House began to expand. As the co-beneficiary of a property in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, Chicago House purchased a building known as “Little House” as a result of the support of the Chicago Community Trust. Little House was a three-bedroom apartment that allowed Chicago House to expand its client support program and house four individuals.
