The 2024 EMCEE Matthew Rodrigues

Emmy winning Matthew Rodrigues has hosted and produced NBC Chicago’s top-rated lifestyle show ‘Chicago Today,’ which airs weekdays on NBC 5, since 2019. Matthew and his co-host, Cortney Hall, are a fun and dynamic duo highlighting the latest hotspots and adventures across Chicagoland. They are constantly on the lookout for trends in food, celebrity, beauty, events, and entertainment.

He recently created, hosted and Executive Produced the GLAAD Award Nominated Peacock interview series “It’s Ok to Ask Questions.” Each highly rated episode showcases open and honest conversations between Matt and trailblazers in the LGBTQIA+ community, offering a dialogue where no topic is off limits. Season 2 will debut June 1st.

Matthew previously worked as a host and producer with POPSUGAR while hosting their nationally syndicated entertainment show. He's also collaborated with The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS’s The Talk, NBC’s The Voice, Cirque du Soleil, BBC, Hilton Hotels and ABC’s The View and The Academy Awards.
