Mobile Van Ready for Summer Screenings

The Chicago House Mobile Testing Van is refurbished and ready to deliver services across Chicago. The mobile testing van allows HIV Prevention staff to deliver discreet, rapid HIV screens, meeting individuals where they’re at and reducing barriers to screening and prevention services in communities most impacted by HIV.

Visitors to the van we can access HIV screening and linkage services, harm reduction supplies including condoms and syringes, and general outreach and navigation for housing and employment services. The mobile testing van currently supplements the testing team's walk-in screening locations, with summer and Pride-specific testing plans in formation.

In addition to the mobile van, individuals are able to walk into our office (6307 S Stewart Ave, Ste 208) to meet with a prevention coordinator and receive an HIV test; schedule delivery of a harm reduction kit, including rapid HIV screen, and a follow-up appointment with a care coordinator; and schedule a tele-PrEP meeting to learn about and start PrEP.
