Chicago House Responds to COVID-19
Chicago House is a social service agency that supports those living with or most vulnerable to HIV/AIDS by providing housing, health, and employment services. As COVID-19 continues spreading around the globe, we are actively monitoring the situation and taking all actions necessary to protect clients and staff during this unusual time.
Following guidance by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Chicago Department of Public Health, we have implemented a plan that addresses client and staff needs. While services will continue, they have been modified to comply with the guidance offered by the agencies listed above.
Our staff continues to prioritize the needs of our participants while protecting their health and well-being as well. Alternative working arrangements have been made for all staff until new guidance is delivered by agencies listed above. All of our participant-facing staff are making special arrangements with their participants until new and less restrictive guidance is given.
Additionally, all public events and gatherings are being postponed or cancelled until further notice. For details regarding fundraising events, please contact the development team.
If you are someone who receives services from Chicago House and have additional questions, please contact the program staff member with whom you have been working. Meanwhile, visit our website or contact our main line at 773.248.5200.
