Judith K. Perloff (she/her/hers)

Chief Program Officer

Judy Perloff has served as Chicago House's Chief Program Officer since 2000. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. She is a licensed ACSW and LCSW. Prior to her fourteen years as Chief Program Officer, Perloff’s experience includes five years as the program director for an outpatient rehabilitation program and three years as a social work director.

Under her leadership and direction, Chicago House has received prestigious grants from HUD HOPWA SPNS (Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS- Special Project of National Significance), HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration), and the Department of Education. With these grants, she designed an integrated housing and social service program that has been recognized by HUD as a best practice model and intervention, and an employment program that has received national recognition as an innovative, supportive employment model.

Perloff has been recognized as having an expertise in housing and employment services and has been invited to speak at national conferences on the impact of integrated housing and social service models, and on the relationship between employment and health. Ms. Perloff has also co-authored research publications on HIV and employment programming, and has presented Chicago House's findings on employment services with HIV-positive adults at the National US Conference on AIDS. Perloff currently serves as a board member for a new, innovative health care model, Together for Health, that includes housing and employment as critical social determinants of health.
